I finally got my new guitar! Figured you might get a kick out of seeing some pics of the luthier and his shop.

My only complaint is the flat fingerboard...takes some getting used to. Wish I would have requested a radiused one as I imagine he could have figured out how to do it. I?m taking it back tomorrow to get the action lowered. That should improve the playability a bit, and I?ll be totally satisfied.
The tone is difficult to describe. Open, warm, fairly loud but not cutting like a stiff spruce top. Some overtones but not as rich as, say, a HD-28v. Plenty of bass but not boomy, clear trebles but not terribly bright.
